Why choose between your kids and work? Have both!

As a parent it sometimes feels like we have to choose what comes first in our lives. Our kids of course are extremely important, but what about the career that keeps their needs taken care of? This is especially true for entrepreneurs. It’s a delicate balance between working from home, going to meetings, nurturing your children, staying healthy, and maybe, just maybe, having a little time to actually socialize.
Beyond anything we as parents we know that we want the best for our kids. A comfortable and loving home, healthy food, the best education, the list goes on. Have you ever stopped and asked the question to why you and they can’t have it all?
For example, a quality daycare center can be a very enriching experience for your child and give you the time you need to have your career. A good center can provide many activities, social interactions, and experiences that simply can’t be done in a home environment because of expense of the materials and the startup time involved. A quality daycare center can enrich your child and enable you to get things done. Problem solved.

WeVillage Flexible Childcare centers offers flexible full time child care and part time child care options in its four locations in the Pearl, NE Portland, Happy Valley and Orenco Station in Hillsboro. In their play-based program, children choose activities based on their current interests.  The play-based classroom is broken up into sections, including a kitchen, dress-up, reading nook, a block and LEGO building space, and other toy areas. Play is an essential part of learning and at WeVillage they make sure that their center is full of it.

WeVillage teachers encourage kids to play, facilitating social skills along the way. This might seem like they aren’t learning, but in fact they are gaining valuable skills, including important social skills, cooperation with others, and early math and reading.
During the day at WeVillage your child will do tons of activities, socialization, and learning. Here is an example schedule of their full time care:
